The Northern General Hospital benefits from pinpoint
27 Aug 2013
With pinpointG3 proving itself May through August, data preparations and user training have been undertaken during the summer months culminating in a full scan of the medical records library at the Northern General Hospital. All systems were set for go-live. Having seen the benefits gained at The Royal Hallamshire Hospital, users at The Northern General Hospital were eager to gain similar benefits as soon as possible.
So, as planned, on Tuesday 27th August staff at the NGH, and in particular those in the Medical Records department, became the second major group of users to use and see direct benefits from the trust-wide solution. To date we are delighted to report all systems continue to function as expected and we look forward to the next steps, introduction into other Specialisms within the Trust.
This is a significant achievement and a major objective, having being an ambition of the project team for a number of years.
