- What is the background / history of CMC?
Founded in 1988 we have worked on numerous software and infrastructure projects over the years and have a wide-reaching experience and understanding of numerous aspects of modern day IT systems. Often we work with standard or high availability resiliant infrastructure solutions, but we can also work involving real-time low level of signalling, secure web services design and delivery and in-device computation and communication.
In terms of technology, we will often steer our customers, having formed a comprehensive view of the existing and developed a mid to long term vision. Our customers trust us, and we respect that trust and the faith they put in our judgement and services.
In 1997, our software solution was delivered to Royal Mail for deployment in more than 1000 systems. The product is still in use today.
- What are your main areas of expertise?
Broad and deep understanding of both technical and commercial aspects leads us to be able to tackle most challenges.
There are just a handful of us at CMC, but we are highly dedicated and highly experienced. We also have a great base of specialist partners who we can call in to bring further specific skills in such areas as hosting, connectivity & DR.
